Server Problems Resolved
by admin - 09 May, 2008
Problems that we were experiencing with the servers have been fixed. The majority of the problems we faced were caused by an update of php to version 5.2.5 and a tightening of security on the servers.
With the exception of rd-soft.com, all sites are back up and operating at 100% efficiency. We have restarted paid advertiser's ad campaigns at AdPusher.com now that we are confident that the problems have been resolved.
As for rd-soft.com, the entire site is about to undergo a rewrite. Though many of its problems were attributable to the server issues that we faced, there are other issues that are apparently code-related.
During the time that we were hunting down and correcting problems on the server, we also upgraded the LuckyCoast.com website. Now, the site is written in PHP (though it appears to be made up of static pages). Upon entry to the site, the visitor's point of origin is checked and compared against our database of IP addresses. If the visitor is originating from the United States, the PHP script denies access for the visitor to the site. This was done due to recent US legislation in opposition to online gambling. The site can still be accessed from visitors arriving from outside the United States.
