I found this great game on MySpace.com just a couple of days ago called Mafia Wars. I started playing at first just to see what all the hype was about. It has become quite addictive. I've been bustin' heads and building my mafia empire ever since.

Once you're a part of Mafia Boss' family, you'll be able to build your own family as well. You do so by recruiting players just like I am doing right here.

There are many objectives of the game, the most primary of which is to develop the largest and strongest mafia family. To reach this objective, you must complete criminal jobs such as roughing up pimps and collecting protection money. One of the quickest ways to gain experience points and move up in levels is to beat up rival gangsters with a baseball bat - you get two experience points per energy point expended in job completion unlike one point for most other jobs.

The one thing that I find lacking in this game is that you can only see other mafia families of the same experience level as yourself. This restricts players from being able to hit players who are either weaker or stronger than themselves.

There was one player named Frost who was helpful in making my player character more powerful. I attacked him repeatedly and took well over a million dollars from his account. Unfortunately, my character grew in strength and level and Frost disappeared from the list of players that I could attack. If you do join the Mafia Boss Faily in Mafia Wars, I will share with you all that I have learned so far so that you too can excell in this game and become a mafia boss worth reckoning with.
